To Our Faithful Supporters and Prayer Partners,
Our container is packed and on its way to South Africa. We are so thankful for many friends who helped us with this challenging task. Now we are praying that it arrives by the end of December as scheduled.
We also praise the Lord for providing a house! Our friends and ministry partners, Dave and Julie Rudolph, found a nice place in a good location where we can host the church plant and they are helping us with the lease agreement. Lord willing, that will all be completed in the next couple of weeks so we will have a place when we arrive in January. We are finalizing tickets for a January 1 departure which means we are less than a month away from leaving.
We are excited to mention that our daughter, Carissa, got engaged last week to a young man we have known for a long time, Dustin Harris. They are preparing for a May, 2019 wedding. We praise the Lord for this development and look forward to a return visit in May for this special occasion.
Thank you again for joining us on this journey and for lifting us up before the Lord. We certainly are aware that many folks are praying with us and for us, and we know the Lord is honoring those prayers. We pray that your hearts will be filled with the peace and joy that comes only from Christ as the Christmas season approaches.
