"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations" (Psalm 67:1-2)
Simply put, we desire to see God's way and His saving power through the person and work of Jesus Christ known to others who do not yet know Him. This is the passion taking us to South Africa.
Our Ministry Plan
We have joined a growing ministry team serving in the city of George along the Garden Route of South Africa. We serve closely with veteran missionaries, Dave and Julie Rudolph and Julie McFadden on the Inspire George team, which is the church-planting non-profit entity under which we operate on the field. George has an expanding population of around 300,000 people, as many South Africans relocate from the major cities such as Johannesburg and Cape Town. There is also a growing population of people coming to George from several other African nations, including Zimbabwe, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Somalia. Our ministry is focused on three core components:
- Church Planting
- Theological Training
- Gospel Outreach
“So that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known . . .” (Ephesians 3:10). We believe God has uniquely called the church to make known the mystery and message of the gospel. Our task is to make disciples by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and establish healthy, Christ-centered, reproducing local churches. We are currently planting the Life Fellowship Church, which has been meeting every Sunday since February 2019.
“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). We are committed to teaching and training South African servant- leaders preparing for gospel ministry. We are part of the Biblical Leadership Institute (BLI), a theological school started in 2018 designed for ministry training along South Africa’s Garden Route. You can learn more about BLI here.
“And by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God” (Revelation 5:9-10). We are seeking the advancement of the gospel through community-based ministries of mercy with the non-profit initiative, Inspire George. We are also exploring gospel opportunities in the countries surrounding South Africa.
