Hello once again from George, South Africa!
As we mentioned in our recent update, we are in the process of a major transition with regard to our missions agency. While our home church, Calvary Baptist in Lansdale, will remain our sending church, they are no longer able to serve as our missions agency. We are certainly grateful for the six years Calvary served us in this capacity as well as the years of service Calvary has provided to multiple missionary families around the world.
We have recently been accepted with a mission organization in Sherman, Texas called GoSendMe Global (https://gosendmeglobal.org). Rob Casey, the founder and director of the organization, joined us and our friends and coworkers, the Tandons and the Coons, earlier this month for a week of training and formalizing our partnership with GoSendMe Global. We are encouraged by the intentional care and support we have already received from the team at GSM Global and the passion they have to serve those who have been called out to serve around the world.
There are several important items we need to communicate about this transition:
- GSM Global is encouraging us to enlist 100 people who will commit to praying for us and our ministry here in George, South Africa on a weekly basis. If you would be willing to encourage us in that way, please send an email to Troy at tGahman@gosendme.us or Danielle at dGahman@gosendme.us to let us know!
- With regard to financial support, our home church is asking us to complete the transition to GSM Global by the end of the year. While we recognize this a very busy time of the year, we would greatly appreciate you taking just about 10 minutes to go online and set up your giving to support our ministry through GSM Global. Once you establish your giving with GSM Global, you will no longer send funds to Calvary on our behalf. Here is what you need to do:
- For those who would like to give online, go to our webpage: https://gosendmeglobal.org/missionary/troy-and-danielle-gahman. Once you have entered the amount you would like to donate, click the “Give” button. It will take you to a second page where you will be able to choose to make the gift recurring (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) and you will be able to choose a payment option. Please note that credit card payments have a 3% fee and e-checks have a $0.35 transaction fee. Once you have entered your billing information, click on the “Process Gift” button at the bottom. If you create a login and set up your own giving portal, it will make future giving easier and you will be able to print a giving statement at the end of the year for tax purposes.
- For those who would prefer to send a check or use your bank’s bill pay option (which carries no fees), you can send your gift to the following address:
GoSendMe Global, PO Box 913106, Sherman, TX 75091
Checks should be made out to GoSendMe Global. If you are sending a physical check, please DO NOT write our names on the check, but rather send a note with the check indicating that the gift is for Troy and Danielle’s ministry in George, South Africa. Bill pay checks may include our name on the memo line since this information is normally included on the tear-away portion. If you give by way of check, GSM Global will send a giving statement at the end of the calendar year for tax purposes.
As you can see from above, GoSendMe Global has established new email addresses for us which we will be using for all ministry correspondence moving forward. Please feel free to message us at these email addresses with any questions about our transition to GSM Global or just to say hello!

As we approach the Thanksgiving season, we want to express our sincere thankfulness and deep appreciation for those of you who have been partnering with us over the past six years in prayer and in giving. The Lord has used you to be a blessing to us personally, but also to help advance His kingdom work here in George, South Africa. Please continue to pray for us and with us that our transition to GSM Global will continue to move forward smoothly, and that the Lord would continue to provide for both our ministry needs and our personal needs as we continue to serve Him here.
