Visa Situation

To Our Faithful Supporters and Prayer Partners,

Our plan is to send a regular newsletter as we get to the field, but for now, we'll send some shorter "blog-style" updates to let you know the status of our journey to South Africa.

First of all, thank you for partnering with us in prayer and in support. We sincerely thank God for your partnership with us in His work (Philippians 1:3-5).

The major issue we are facing right now if our visa situation. Due to restrictions on the Volunteer Visa by the South African government, the process of obtaining a visa has become more complicated. Right now, the only South African consulate in the States sill issuing this type of visa is in Los Angeles. So, the four of us going to South Africa (Troy, Danielle, Drew, and Grant) need to apply in person in Los Angeles as soon as possible. We are pulling our paperwork together as fast as possible and planning to go to L.A. as soon as possible - hopefully by the week of September 30.

So, we are asking  you to pray with us for our visa situation. It is clearly in the Lord's hands and we are learning to trust Him with the process. We'll let you know when we are going to L.A. and we'll let you know what we find out. Thank you for praying!

We would love to hear from you

For the Sake of His Name,

Troy and Danielle
